The 11th edition of the American College of Surgeons' two-day ATLS student course for physicians and physician extenders combines lectures, laboratory sessions, and skill stations to teach established standards of trauma care and practical, life-saving skills. 

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

• Demonstrate concepts and principles of primary and secondary patient assessment.
• Establish management priorities in a trauma situation, including mass casualty incidents.
• Initiate primary and secondary management necessary in the early hours of emergency care.
• Demonstrate skills used in the initial assessment and management of patients with multiple injuries.

**If the minimum number of required course participants is not met, a coordinator may reach out to you 2-3 business days prior to class to reschedule your session.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Fees

To help us make the best use of our instructors' time and the Center’s resources, cancellations and rescheduling requests may be subject to the following fees:

• Cancellation: Cancellations made within three (3) calendar days of the scheduled course may be subject to a $25 fee.
• Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule a course may be subject to a $15 fee.

Fees may be waived at the Center’s discretion in cases of illness, emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances.
